RETIREMENT
“According to Golf Digest Magazine, the average golfer burns over 1,400 calories walking 18 holes, and as many as 850 calories using a buggy. Walking the course also builds muscle strength, improves cardiovascular functions, and increases endurance, which are all important to your health as you age.”
There are many social, mental and physical health benefits of golf, and as you age it is all so more important to put these 3 things at the forefront of your life.
As part of our commitment to inclusion, we are beginning to establish a pathway to introduce golf into local retirement and care homes.
